How to reach the desk about the archive, a correction or a listing.
Write to the desk by email and say which page you mean — the address of the page is the fastest thing you can give us.
Corrections
If something on a page is wrong, tell us what it says and what it should say. Material filed between 2013 and 2017 is kept as it was written; where we correct it, the correction is marked on the page rather than quietly swapped in.
Listings
The rental board is no longer taking new listings for a live market. Property pages here are an archive of what was advertised around past editions of the game. If a listing of yours is in the archive and you want it taken down, say which address and we will remove it.
Rights and credits
Photographs in the archive carry the credit they were filed with. If a credit is missing or wrong on an image of yours, write and we will fix the credit or take the image down.
What reaches the desk, and what happens to it
Most of what arrives here is one of three things: a correction to something we published, a request to take down a listing that has left the market, or a question about where a figure on a page came from. All three are worth sending. Corrections are the most useful of them, because an archive that quietly carries an error is worse than one that admits it.
When we are told that a published figure is wrong, we check it against the filing it came from rather than against a current source. If the filing says what we printed, the page stays and the correction is noted alongside it. If we misread the filing, the page is fixed.
Requests to remove a property listing are handled without argument. These pages record advertisements that ran years ago, and an owner who would rather not have their old address standing on a public page has a reasonable case. We remove the page and leave the address redirecting to the section it sat in.
What we cannot do is take a booking, pass one on, or put anyone in touch with an owner. Nothing on this site is a live offer, and we hold no current contact details for the people who placed the original listings.
