Cool Super Bowl TX images — part 3

Sep 16, 2016 · Super Bowl LI

A few nice Super Bowl TX images I found: Part 3 of this run in the Super Bowl LI file, filed Sep 16, 2016.

What this record is

The item below was filed to Archive as a photo ledger, and we keep the original wording because the wording is part of what the record shows.

By date it belongs to 2016, one of 80 entries this archive keeps from that twelve-month stretch.

Counting this one, Archive carries 67 records.

Super Bowl LI is the edition in question, and the desk filed 31 items around it.

Read it as a record of what was being said at the time, not as advice about anything happening now.

We kept the original address when the site was rebuilt, which means anything that linked to this entry years ago still reaches it.

The nearest entries by date are listed at the foot of this page. They are what the desk was handling either side of this one.

The archive is the long tail of the desk: everything filed over the years that belongs to no single running story but still records what was happening.

The text keeps its original claims. We would rather show what was believed at the time than quietly replace it.
